Essential Oils
We've had so many requests for oils to go with our diffuser pendants we decided to add these to inventory. 100% pure undiluted oils in a small size brown glass bottle. We are offering the following scents - Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Pink Grapefruit, Patchouli, Peppermint, Sweet Orange, and Lavender. 10 ml (.34 fl oz)
Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus leaf)- origin is China. This is a middle note oil with a strong minty, herbaceous scent. Eucalyptus improves respiratory conditions such as stuffy nose from allergies or a cold. It also soothes sore muscles.
Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) - origin is Spain. It is a top note with a camphoreous herbaceous aroma. Rosemary is an anti-inflammatory, and helps improve clarity and memory.
Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) - from Canada. Grapefruit is a middle note with a fresh, sweet scent. Citrus scents help relieve stress, enhance mood, and increase energy; grapefruit can help reduce cravings.
Frankincense (Boswellia serrata) - from India. This oil is a deep base note with a woody, earthy aroma. Frankincense is calming and can help with anxiety. Used topically it can reduce pain as it is an anti-inflammatory.
Lavender (Lavandula standardized 40/42) - origin is Bulgaria. Lavender is a floral scent with a woody undertone; it is a top note. Lavender is calming and relaxing; it helps with tension and insomnia.
Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin) - This dark patchouli hails from Indonesia and is a strong base note. The scent is rich and earthy. Patchouli is highly grounding and good for stress; it's also an anti-inflammatory.
Peppermint (Mentha piperita) - from India. Peppermint is a top note and has a strong mint smell with herbaceious undertones. It is used for IBS symptoms and is good for headaches.
Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis) - This middle note oil comes from sunny Brazil. Orange is a great mood enhancer and anti-bacterial. It is photo sensitive so be careful not to get a burn out in the sun.
Cautions
- Avoid eyes.
- Keep away from children and pets.
- External use only.
- Use caution in sunlight as some oils are cause photosensitivity.
- If you are pregnant do not use in the first trimester and check with your doctor before using during the remainer of your pregnancy.
- People who suffer from epilepsy should also consult a doctor before use.
Usage
Essential oils are for external use only. When using directly on the skin you should dilute the oil with a carrier such as aloe vera gel, or a light oil such as avocado, sweet almond, or even jojoba oil. Essential oils are great for using in a diffuser but be careful if there are pets in the area as some essential oils are toxic to pets.
